THE PURCHASE AND DRIVE HOME FROM IDAHO TO WISCONSIN!
I bought the 2005 Thunderbird from its original owners, Tom and Jeannie in Caldwell, Idaho.
My close friend Jen and I flew to Boise to get the car. Tom picked us up the next morning and took us to their home to meet the car and greet Jeannie. It had 9,665.5 miles. We took the car to Kendall Ford in Meridian, ID for an oil change, inspection, and installation of new tires I had bought. Thanks Luana & Maria!
We then embarked on a fantastic Thelma and Louise style road trip back to Wisconsin. We stopped at Yellowstone National Park and Custer State Park in SD, along with many other fun and scenic stops. Tom and Jeannie left some CDs in the changer, so we got to listen to Rose Petal Pie for awhile. Miss Julie Newmar was framed and with us all along.
Road Trip!! We had a blast!
After 5 days on the road, Louise had 11,611.6 miles when we got home!
